Steve approached me with the Losing Faith script back in 2016, at the start of my Feature career. This ambitious script (currently still in production) follows the life of Joe Tyler- a well respected under cover agent who's life gets turned upside down when he loses his job and ultimately, his wife. The film is full of twists and turns, jam packed with fast paced action sequences, fight scenes and explosions- not really what you expect from a no-budget feature! 

 

It really has been a pleasure to bring this script to life, though that doesn't mean its been all plain sailing! Like many low or no budget, indie feature films, they have their challenges and this one is no exception!

Working with only a shoestring budget, not only required us to make adjustments to the way that we shot the movie, but also with the way that set was run. On a typical filmset, departments include; Camera, Lighting, Sound, Costume, Makeup, Art and so on, all working in harmony like a well oiled machine. On Losing Faith, we just didn't have the budget to support a large crew, which often meant helping in multiple roles in order to meet those deadlines. Covid19 has also had big impacts on the shooting schedule, only allowing us to shoot for short periods of time.

Given the restrictions though, production continues and we're making steady progress through the script. I've shared a couple of stills from various scenes we've already shot! Here's to 2021 for the release!
